Walter J. Crinnion, ND
Dr. Crinnion graduated from Bastyr University in 1982, and immediately began a private family practice with
specialties in allergies and environmental toxicity. In 1987 he opened the most comprehensive cleansing center
in North America, helping chronically ill persons clear toxins that initiate illness or prevent healing. He
has written numerous articles for periodicals, medical journals, and books, and frequently lectures to physician
groups across the nation. He is a contributing editor of Alternative Medicine Review. He has been an
associate professor on the adjunct faculty at Bastyr University, where he has taught Geriatrics, Allergies, and
Environmental Medicine. He is presently director of the environmental medicine program at Southwest College of
Naturopathic Medicine. He has served on the board of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP)
as Speaker of the House of Delegates. In 1998 he received the first AANP award for the best in-office
research for Naturopathic Physicians.
Lyn Patrick, ND
Dr. Patrick is a 1984 graduate of Bastyr University and has a consulting practice in chronic hepatitis C. She is
a Board Consultant for the American College for the Advancement of Medicine and on the faculty of ACAM
Environmental Medicine and Metal Toxicology courses and lectures internationally on chronic hepatitis C, and
Environmental Medicine. She is a Contributing Editor for Alternative Medicine Review.
James P. Blumenthal, DC
Dr. Blumenthal graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1980 and Logan College of Chiropractic in
1993 before moving to Los Angeles to sail, surf, and practice. He earned diplomate status from the American
Chiropractic Board of Nutrition and the Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) credential from the International
and American Associations of Clinical Nutrition in 1996, diplomate status from the American Clinical Board of
Nutrition in 2002, and fellow status from the American College of Functional Neurology in 2008. Dr. Blumenthal
is director of the Brain Performance Center and the Applied Kinesiology Center of Los Angeles where he specializes
in the natural treatment of Autistic Spectrum and other chronic / complex metabolic and neurological disorders.
He is also managing partner of NeuroHealth, LLC, dedicated to helping functional medicine doctors understand
imbalances in their patients’ metabolic control systems. In addition to several publications including serving
as editor of the AK Review from 1996-2000, he lectures nationally and serves as a member of the postdoctoral
faculty for a number of chiropractic colleges, naturopathic, and oriental medicine boards.
